Melissa L. Fisher has spent more than twenty years leading companies from the C-suite, serving in CEO, COO, and CMO roles across organizations navigating growth, reinvention, and market change. She has co-founded five companies (two through successful exits and three she still owns) and has advised organizations through complex periods of transformation, expansion, and operational change.
Recognized by the American Business Awards as a "visionary and strategist," Melissa has advised innovation teams connected to companies including Google, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, Cisco, Comcast, Viacom, Cox Enterprises, and Fox. Her career has spanned many of the shifts that have reshaped business and professional life over the past two decades: broadcast to cable, cable to streaming, analog commerce to digital wallets, classroom-only learning to video-enabled education, passive audiences to creator communities, gaming into mainstream entertainment, and now the reinvention of work in the age of artificial intelligence.
She is the founder and managing director of Peak Road Partners, a collective of experienced fractional executives and senior consultants who work alongside leadership teams to move from diagnosis and strategy through implementation and delivery of measurable results. She is also the founder of Careerz Group, where their coaches’ collective work focuses on human potential, workforce fit, career positioning, and performance in a rapidly changing world of work.
Her writing and advisory work focus on the human side of business transformation, particularly the gap between what technology makes possible and what organizations are actually able to achieve with it. She examines the leadership, trust, management capability, workflow redesign, judgment, and accountability required to turn technological capability into durable business value.
Melissa holds a Master's in Management from Regent University and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, with advanced studies in strategic marketing, business-to-business strategy, entrepreneurial leadership, and pricing strategy, along with professional credentials in franchise leadership, product management, and direct marketing.
That perspective is the foundation of Melissa's AI Leadership Series, which explores how leaders can harness artificial intelligence without losing sight of the people, customers, decisions, and operating systems that ultimately determine whether transformation succeeds.
